Welcome

St. Nicholas Episcopal Church of Kapolei Hawaii has held "Covenant Group" meetings for about 10 years. These groups meet weekly for fellowship, prayer and reflection on the readings and the sermon from the previous week. This blog is an attempt to offer the prayer and reflection as an on-going basis. The challenges of schedules and more prevent many members from participating in our groups, perhaps this will allow for additional participation. I will post readings and questions - please answer the questions and contribute as you're comfortable in the comment sections. Blessings

Look - Prediction and Prophecy

LOOK
As a child, you might have enjoyed pretending you could predict the future – how your brother would do in his competition, what your best friend would say next, even what you might be when you grew up.  Some grown ups (especially gamblers!) would love the ability to accurately predict the future!

1.         How good are you at predicting the outcome of events? 
2.         Does it matter the type of event (relationship struggle you may be observing, a sporting event, children playing, politics, etc)?

3.         Has anyone ever predicted something about you that just blew you away?  Did it come true?  Any idea how their prediction came to them?

    2. Yes. If it is something I know about.

    3. There was something, but I can't remember. I know at the time, it baffled me.
