1. My wife. For sure. Don't get me wrong though, it is in the best possible sense, I am a much better person because of her. If I followed all her advice I'd probably be so good it would make us all sick ;)
ReplyDeleteOthers from church also are tremendously helpful in the accountability as a pastor and as a Christian. I also have some clergy mentors I turn to with difficult questions
2. Hmm. . . my children, at least most of the time. I try to help others accountable, but appreciate "permission" to do so. Some times there are friends that desire some more accountability from those who know them well.
3. I've had some relationships suffer because the lines of accountability were not clear, or where I (or they) overstepped the accountability that the relationship offered.
